Primeau-Fahey Studios is a boutique creative agency founded in 1993 to promote its clients with research-driven community engagement, marketing, and PR campaigns. We were founded in 1993 on the belief that startups, social causes and nonprofit organizations should not have to rely on ad agency pro bono leftovers driven by junior staffers. These missions are vital and deserve senior talent at affordable rates. The team led by Kelly Primeau has helped clients break through the cluttered, over-communicated marketplace and deliver their message with impact. With Primeau-Fahey Studios, you will work with a senior-level team and agency principals who execute campaigns on strategy, on time and under budget.
Primeau-Fahey Studios was proud to be chosen to rebrand The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering as SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
As CNSE grew out of UAlbany and merged with SUNY IT in Utica, the new Institute needed to build on its existing brand equity and extend that brand across a new collection of Colleges and Campuses. Like many large, growing organizations, SUNY Poly and SUNY IT are institutions that means many things to many people. The key to creating a powerful Institute-wide brand is to find themes and ideas that are meaningful to them all. Our team did so through a carefully planned, consensus-building process of research and discovery.
The result is a brand rooted in academic tradition that also embraces its world-class reputation built on cutting edge technologies.
Beyond that, our team has significant experience developing consensus-driven branding campaigns for a variety of organizations including hospitals, colleges and technology based businesses.
For the past decade, our team has worked to support hundreds of organizations including the American Institute for Economic Research, the Citadel Military College, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), The NYS Department of Health, Union College and dozens of County Health Departments, law firms, hospitals and health systems. We explored a variety of issues related to college admission, patient recruitment, public health communications, consumer empowerment, financial literacy, mock juries, brand awareness and more.
Every web experience we design is unique, but they all start with one thing in common: we want to know everything about your business and your brand. Why your company was founded. Who your customers are and why they care about you. The only way to build a successful web site that grows your business is to understand it from every angle. And we've got a research and results-driven approach to help you succeed.
There's so much focus on digital media in contemporary marketing, but artfully designed collateral should not be dismissed.
Nothing can replace the impact and tactility of a well designed brochure or annual report that brings your brand and key messages to life.
Printed collateral gives your audience something physical to remember (or share) and becomes an important part of a well-balanced marketing campaign.
At Primeau Fahey Studios, we can handle everything from copywriting, design, photography and print management.
We also develop business collateral including stationery, business cards, signage and presentations, ensuring that everywhere and way you communicate is fully integrated.
We are excellent at securing coverage for our clients and have the clips and web links to prove it.
Public Relations is one of the most powerful marketing tools available. It promotes your brand and, unlike advertising, allows a deeper story to be told.
We are adept at getting press coverage, organizing events the media will cover and anything else that makes your brand known and memorable to the public.
Our team has deep roots in non-profit community and member-driven organizations. We know how, where and when to reach these audiences and break through the clutter with messages that retain, recruit and motivate your members, donors and constituents. We’ve also had the pleasure of
working with dozens of member-driven organizations, including: The Center for Economic Growth, The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology, MoHu (Regional arts festival), The Community Foundation of the Capital Region, Proctors, Peaceful Acres Farm, Parks and Trails New York, WMHT/WEXT in addition to dozens of Hospitals, Colleges and Universities nationwide.
Merger with SUNY Poly (CNSE), 2013
The board of trustees, led by Paul Fahey as chairman, cultivated an entrepreneurial spirit not often seen in non-profit boards. The trustees worked very hard to collaborate with other organizations in this region that shared their optimism, mission and entrepreneurial spirit. That effort and vision paid off when CMOST announced its merger with CNSE (Now SUNY Polytechnic Institute), a deal that included a $5 million dollar investment in the museum’s operations and programming.
Acquisition of Traveling Museum, 2016
A group representing the board of trustees led by Paul Fahey collaborated with the leadership from the Traveling Museum to form an acquisition that brought the mission, staff and assets of the organization into CNSE CMOST, thereby expanding the combined organization's reach to include more than 140,000 visitors annually.
These partnerships will move the museum's mission swiftly and dramatically to the next level. The museum is now on track to establish a world-renowned science center dedicated to nanotechnology education and training for young people. And while this is an opportunity for CMOST to reach upward, the museum is also exploring ways they can reach outward and expand the Museum’s presence throughout New York State. CMOST’s board retained its role as governing board with the new organization and grew to include new members from CNSE, as well as regional technology and business leaders.
